# Member Filter

The member filter setting determines whether the voice statistics of specific members in your server are recorded. Stats for filtered (blacklisted) members will no longer be tracked by the bot.

Adding a member to the filter does not reset their *past* statistics. If they have existing voice stats, they will still appear in the rankings. If you want to completely delete a user's past data, you must use the `/reset user stats` command.

### How to Use?

When you select the **Member Filter** category from the `/settings` menu, you can see the list of currently filtered members and your limit status. Use the **+ Add Member** button to add someone to the list, and the **- Remove Member** button to take someone off the list.

**💎 Limit Info:** Free servers can add a maximum of 5 members to the blacklist. For [Premium](https://docs.voicestats.xyz/premium#plan-comparison) servers, this limit is increased up to 100 members.
